Appearance

 

Gargas is a towering muscular human and not one to easily miss. It was not his height that made him stand out but his otherwise somewhat humanoid like features, save for small patches of black scales over some parts of his body which would indicate that he was not entirely of the human race even his face carries unique detailing of scale and bony structure. Gargas is normally seen wearing a suit of black dragon scale armor that seems to fit his body rather well, he also has a long draconic tail with small bony spikes protruding from it, which he somehow manages to keep hidden or at least out of sight.

 

Vocation

Warrior: When he met Malek and revealed his gift to him it wasn't long after that he took Gargas under his wing. Before his death Malek trained him extensively for several years.

Sorcerer: Many years later after Malek's death and during his travels Gargas met and was befriended, by a Sorcerer named Alderus whom he also revealed his gift to. After training with him extensively for a few years Gargas resumed traveling.

 

Background

 

Long before he was born Gargas' parents were known for striking fear into the hearts of others and leaving chaos in their wake however in the years to come his parents were approached by a sorcerer, who presented a power in the form of a gift which would allow them to transform their forms to that of a human, the reason was the sorcerer was a friend of theirs and he did not wish to see them hunted for the rest of their lives. Three hundred years later Gargas was concieved. The gift would also be passed onto him but it would not effect Gargas until he grew into adolescence and for a time he and his parents were happy, however tragedy was not far behind and while they were all out bathing in the sun and relaxing in the cool waters of a large lake, they were having the time of their lives however off in the distance in hiding was a large band of dragon slayers who were looking to collect and purse a few thousand gold coins for dragon hide. When he and his parents moved from the lake onto dry land they were instantly surrounded. Gargas while watching as his parents fended off and managed to kill but a few of these slayers yet he was afraid and couldn't do anything but watch on in horror, as the slayers killed his mother first and despite a valiant effort, his father met the same fate.

Now alone the slayers closed in around Gargas to end his life as well and when all seem lost a warrior clad in armor appeared killing one after another defeating all of them in combat, though they also wore armor but not enough to cover their throats as blood spewed forth with each stroke of the warrior's weapon. After a long fought battle it was all over the slayers lay in a puddle of their own blood while the form of the warrior was covered in blood as was the weapon that he carried, from that point on Gargas was adopted by the unknown warrior though from the beginning he did not speak and only listened to the mans words roaring lightly in response and in time Gargas came to know the mans name as Malek, after five years had passed Gargas finally revealed his gift that he inherited from his parents to him.

Malek was quite surprised and from that time on they became good friends. They were seen traveling and fighting alongside one another while traveling far and wide to other places, over time the two settled in an unknown land and chose to live in the forest, Malek simply acquired a cabin for himself while Gargas found a nearby cave which he made into his own home and every so often he would visit his friend. Although their friendship lasted for 10 years because Malek was killed in an ambush and now Gargas having grown to adulthood has remained in his human-like form and has since acquired a dragon of his own and continues his travels.

 

Weapons

Drakindic Blade: This weapon can be seen carried with Gargas though one could consider it a "detached" bodily weapon. Before the weapon was made while in his true form Gargas removed one of his teeth, afterwards it was taken to then forged into tempered steel by a skilled smith of many talents. Not many could wield this blade aside from himself and Malek. Be fore warned this sword may seem light to some, but seeing as he can wield it in one hand or both makes it all worth while.

Drakindic Claws: With these razor sharp but deadly claws protruding from his fingertips Gargas is able to rip or tear any foe to shreds.

Natural Abilities

Drakindic Wings: These wings have a span of 30 feet and allows Gargas to fly.

Flame Breath: Like most Dragons the Drakindic can breathe fire. With a single breath Gargas can destroy much and many within a single breath of this fatal attack.

Drakindic Healing: Unlike all Dragons the Drakindic are able to mend broken bones or heal any wound whether they are multiple, big or small at any given time.

Dark Vision: Like all common Dragons the Drakindic can see in any dark area. Even with the presence of light it will not disrupt it.

 

Former Natural Abilities

 

Dragon Form: In this form Gargas takes on the appearance of a gargantuan Black Dragon massive leathery wings, extend from his shoulders tipped with deadly black claws. He even has a large tail, rippled in muscle just behind him. Gargas also has large bone like spikes that form from the back of his head, running all the way down his spine. Large black horns form outward from each side of his head from his brow and protruding back.

 

Magic

 

Enchant: Gargas can summon forth elemental fire or lightning to enchant any weapon that he touches.

Fireball: Gargas is able to summon forth a single camp fire sized orb of flame in either hand when tossed will seek out his foe and engulf them in flames.

Light Orb: Gargas can summon forth a medium sized orb of light from within his hands when released it will float a few feet away from him and like a torch illuminates a wide area around him within a magical light.

Rain of Fire: Gargas summons forth a shower of fire that rains down small orbs of flame. Anything that the flame touches are instantly engulfed.

Flame Strike: Gargas summons forth a vertical column of flame that rains down upon his foe.

 

Fire Wall: Gargas is able to summon a wall or ring roaring fire to set his enemies ablaze.

Chain Lightning: Gargas is able to unleash a stream of lightning from his hands when connected with one enemy that passes through to another.

Heal: Gargas can channel positive energy into the palm of his hands and whoever he places his hands upon, all of their wounds are healed or their broken bones are mended.

 

Companions

 

Daeghun: While exploring a cave Gargas happened upon a dragon egg. After a few nights of looking over the egg it hatched and shortly there after the young male wyrmling bonded itself to him and has been with him ever since.
